This cookie policy describes which cookies taxua.nl places on your device, what we use them for, how long they stay there and who receives the data. It forms part of our privacy policy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit and reads back on a later visit. We distinguish three categories: necessary, analytics and advertising.
Your choice
We ask you to choose on your first visit. Analytics and advertising cookies are placed only after you have given consent for them. If you refuse, or make no choice at all, nothing is stored on your device except the necessary cookie that remembers the choice itself.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal works for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

If you give no consent, the only cookie from this table stored on your device is the necessary one, taxua_consent.
Recipients outside the EEA
Google and Meta also process the data in the United States. For that transfer we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. are both certified. Should that decision be withdrawn or invalidated, we fall back on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
What these parties receive is usage data: pages viewed, the time, an approximate location derived from the IP address, the browser and the device. We never share your name, your BSN, your financial data or the contents of your file with them.
Third parties that receive data without storing anything
Not every third party places a cookie. The following parties do receive data about your visit, but store nothing on your device:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — delivers and protects this website. All traffic passes through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address, the page requested and technical connection data, and counts the visit in its own traffic statistics.
- Trustpilot A/S — our review widget is loaded by Trustpilot, which thereby receives your IP address and the page the widget sits on. If you click through to Trustpilot, Trustpilot's own cookie policy applies from that point on.
Deleting cookies in your browser
Besides the choice above, you can always delete or block cookies yourself through your browser's settings. If you block all cookies, we cannot remember your cookie choice and will ask for it again on every visit.
